Paul Joseph Chubb, DO is a board certified Orthopedic Surgeon, Fellowship trained in Hand Surgery, with a Certificate of Added Qualification in hand surgery. He earned a B.S. in Biology with a minor in Chemistry from Mount St. Mary’s College in Emmitsburg, MD. Dr. Chubb then received his medical education at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine, where he earned his Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) and completed a general surgery internship at Lankenau Hospital in Philadelphia, PA. He completed an Orthopedic Surgery residency at Memorial Hospital in York, PA. Dr. Chubb then enhanced his training by doing a full year Hand Surgery Fellowship at the University of California, San Francisco.
Dr. Chubb specializes in treating hand and upper extremity problems in adults and children, including newborns, from the shoulder to the hand, including congenital deformities. During his fellowship, Dr. Chubb gained extensive experience in traumatic and reconstructive elbow surgery, which is a major interest of his.
Dr. Chubb’s goals are to make patients pain free and fully functional, allowing them to return to the activities that they love.
Dr. Chubb was born and raised in Harrisburg, PA. He had been in a hand and upper extremity practice in Pennsylvania for over two years before moving back to New Jersey to be closer to his family. Dr. Chubb brings his unique interests and skills to Advanced Orthopedics and Sports Medicine Institute.
In his free time Dr. Chubb loves to spend his time with his wife and two children and the rest of his extended family. He enjoys cooking, and when time allows, playing golf and fly fishing.
